Rancho San Juan Preview Run
|I had a great run today with Luis Escobar and about 20 other experienced trail runners. The purpose today was to preview route options for the upcoming Rancho San Juan trail run in the beginning of February. The run is on private property, so I may never have the chance to run this area ever again. We started of around 50 degrees and a bit windy. Even though I am not very talkative, it was great to run with like-minded people. We all stuck together almost the entire run along fire roads, cattle trails, and a bit of cross country. Near the end, we got a little bit lost, which added some distance, but nobody complained. At the end of the run, Luis raffled off a few items, and I even won one of them. Great run!
