Your IT Band is Not the Enemy (But Maybe Your Foam Roller Is)

Personally, I encounter knee issues every now and then. Usually, it crops up when I increase my training (whatever sport it may be) too fast. I have had to go to physical therapy a few times to resolve the problem. As this article indicates, I had a severe imbalance in muscle strength in certain areas. In fast, it was quite surprising how weak I was when attempting to perform certain exercises. So I think this article makes sense to me. It certainly can’t hurt to try to strengthen those weak areas.
