New Trails and Green Barrels

Nice trail run today at Johnson Ranch. It didn’t get too warm until later in the run, which was nice. I strayed from my planned route about 3.5 miles in to explore a trail that I had run about 11 months ago. At that time, the trail wasn’t complete, and I had a suspicion that it might be done now. Sure enough, it was! Always fun to run a new trail section. On the way back, I had a lot of fun running the downhills. Everything was so green, and the trees created little canopied arches. The whole experience vaguely reminded me of my surfing days, pulling into green barrels and carving the face. Very fun. Bing Map
