Traversing Green Canyons

Amazing run today. I ran from the start of the Bob Jones Trail, up See Canyon, which turns into Perfumo Canyon, around Cerro San Luis, through downtown area, and finally up the Jennifer St. Bridge multi-purpose trail. See Canyon is a lush and beautiful canyon full of apple trees that are blossoming right now. There was a lot of fresh poison oak too. Although I didn’t run through any of it, and Jill was not on the run with me, I’m sure she is going to get it from me somehow in the next two weeks. At the top of Perfumo Canyon, there are excellent views of the rolling green hills, the scattered cloudy skies, the Nine Sisters peaks, and the town below. I was able to get in over 2000 feet of climbing, and still finish with a decent time. Felt great. We finished with some Thai food and a beer from My Thai next to the Jennifer St. Bridge. It hit the spot. Bing Map
